Universal Design Course
Due to our ever-changing environment, there is a growing demand for education of product design, in terms of studying relationships between humans and products. Students learn how to design household commodities, ranging from furniture, interior, office and shop designs, and industrial products to universal designs. Techniques and presentation skills are also mastered.
This department offers curricula not only centered on practical lessons in collaboration with industries, but also a teacher-training course to cultivate educators who teach arts and crafts at junior and senior high schools. Our state-of-the-art facility helps develop highly sophisticated designers who are capable of expressing their ideas in society.
