Considering all the spaces that exist in our life, this department deals with general theory and practice of design for architecture and all types of environments, such as cities, regions, landscapes.
Through wide-ranging lectures, students learn the history of architecture, ideas on buildings and cities, and the relationship of architecture with nature. Skills and expressions are taught by having students learn through their studio works and activate their ideas in assignments. Fieldwork is a big part of the program. In addition to on-campus studies, the department provides research on various off-campus projects. Both a thesis and submission of a project are required to graduate. Graduates become designers with a comprehensive set of skills, knowledge and ability to express themselves.
